What eye care services do you offer?

We provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams and fittings, prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, and medical eye care, including management of dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration.

How often should I have an eye exam?

Most adults should have a comprehensive eye exam every year, especially if you wear contacts, have diabetes, or have a family history of eye disease. Children should also have regular to annual exams as they grow.

Why is a comprehensive eye exam important?

A comprehensive eye exam checks more than your vision. Our Scottsdale and Mesa optometrists also examine your eye health to catch conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease early, often before you notice any symptoms. Early detection helps protect your sight for life.

What vision insurance plans do you accept?

We accept many major vision and medical insurance plans, including VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Spectera, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Aetna, Cigna, Medicare and UnitedHealthcare. Plans change often, so please call our Scottsdale or Mesa office to confirm your coverage before your visit.

Does insurance cover contact lens exams?

A contact lens fitting is a separate service from a standard eye exam because it requires additional measurements and follow-up. Many vision plans cover part or all of the fitting fee or offer a contact lens allowance. We'll review your benefits with you before your exam.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and HSA/FSA cards. Payment for copays, deductibles, and non-covered services is due at the time of service. We also accept Care Credit.

Do you provide eye exams for children?

Yes. Our doctors perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings for patients of all ages, from children to seniors.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your current glasses and/or contact lenses, a list of medications, your photo ID, and your vision and medical insurance cards.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. Our optometrists welcome new patients of all ages at both our Scottsdale and Mesa offices. Call the location nearest you or request an appointment online.
